How to get there: Driving: approx an hour north of Paris, 45 minutes east of Amiens.
Open : 15 January to 30 December
Price range: 168 – 180 euros per double including breakfast in château rooms. There are also two self-catering houses that are generally let by the week or weekend.

Room types The Château itself accommodates 12 B&B guests, whereas the separate Ormieux gite can host up to 7 people (or even 11, with the adjoining “Chambre du Palefrenier” bedroom). The Potager House gite can accommodate up to 6 guests.

 Things to do: 15 minutes away is the historic town of Péronne and its magnificent war museum; all the major Australia/NZ sites are within 30 minutes. Amiens with its magnificent Gothic cathedral and Compiègne (with its “Château Impérial”). Paris and Lille are one hour away.
Restaurants: La Flamiche gourmet restaurant (one Michelin star) in the nearby town of Roye, or in other villages , eg Péronne. We have twice tried the Le Florentin in Roye which is still fine dining, and enjoyed it immensely: and their prices were extremely reasonable – even the Grande Cru.
Parking: Ample parking available
