How to get there: Driving – 288 Km (3 hrs) South East of Paris, 57 Km (45 mins) West of Dijon. Trains run regularly to Dijon from Paris and take 1 hr 40 mins: rental car companies operate from the Station.

Things to do: This is an ideal place to be located to explore Burgundy.  For example, the UNESCO Abbey of Fontenay is 40 minutes away, as is the Route Grande Cru for wine lovers. The hilltop medieval town of Chateauneuf en Auxois is nearby, as well as the opportunity to explore the canals of Burgundy. The famed villages of Vézelay, Chablis and Semur-en-Auxois are within reach, as is the site of Julius Caesar’s victory over the King of the Gauls. Of course, nearby Beaune and its amazing 15C hospice are not to be missed.
Restaurants: There are a few cafe options in the town (two hundred metres away), but the hotel’s restaurant is the drawcard for the region. The hotel also has another traditional restaurant – Le Terminus, in town.
Parking: Plenty available on the street.
