Things to do: | Tour the Bastide towns of Belves, Cadouin (with its Abbey and great local restaurant opposite), Villereal. Sarlat la Canéda is a must, as is the pre-historic capital of the world – Les Eyzies. The Château de Biron is also well worth a visit as are the town markets – especially those in Sarlat and Monpazier. Not far away is Rocamadour – rated the second finest village is France, and La Roque Gageac – rated the third finest. | |
