Train – Albert station is 0.5 km from the hotel; 17Km to Haute-Picardie TGV station (trip is 1 hour to Paris or Lille)

 Things to do: Easy access to the majority of war sites that are almost sacred to Australians and New Zealanders. Organised tours can be organised or follow the many maps that are available at the front desk or from the Tourist Information office 1.5 Km away. Sites such as Poziere, Thiepval and Villers Bretonneux are within easy reach. As well the near-by Beaumont-Hamel site where Canadian forces suffered horrendeous losses affords best appreciation of the trench warfare of that era. The museum at Peronne is extremely well worth visiting – even for those not so disposed to browsing museums.
